Declaration Project

The Congress of the United States, our elected “representatives”:

-shirked their responsibilities under the Constitution, delegating the coining of money to private vendors, to the detriment of the Nation and the People’s well being.
-allowed the Executive to pursue a long train of undeclared foreign wars, for the benefit of themselves and their monied interests, costing the lives and the maiming of countless thousands of Americans, both military and civilian, and besmirching the reputation and the honor of our Nation.
-allowed the Executive to legislate by bureaucratic fiat; condoned by silence the propagation of hundreds of thousands of regulations and rules, many of which are, prima facie, in direct violation of the Constitution.
-subverted the general welfare clause of the Constitution so as to allow themselves and the Executive to proscribe the freedoms and liberties of the People, imprisoning millions of citizens for arbitrarily defined non-violent crimes.
-subverted the commerce clause of the Constitution so as to proscribe free and unfettered trade among and between the several States and their citizens, negating their sovereignties and relegating the duly elected governments of the States to mere administrators of the Federal mandates.
-failed to perform their duties as indictors of the Executive and his subordinates, and to pursue and attain bills of impeachment for numerous egregious crimes by the same.
-failed to maintain fiscal propriety and prudence in their budgets and their expenditures, plunging the Nation into massive debt and consigning our progeny to bankruptcy, frequently for the purposes of enrichment of themselves and their monied interests.
-conspired with the Executive and the Judicial to create an omnipotent plutocracy, placing it above and separate from the laws they have created for the rest of the People of the Nation.
-refused to bow to the wishes of the constituents that elected them to their high office, instead catering to the desires and agendas of the political factions that sponsored them for their offices, thereby violating the sacred oath of office they swore and affirmed to uphold and honor at their installation.
