My Declaration Of Independence is all about no longer assuming. I made that my declaration of independence because I assume a lot, and no good comes out of it. I believe that assuming is not a good thing because more than likely you’re wrong, and that can mess up trust between you and others. People should not make assumptions about one another; we should live in a world free of assumptions. Here are some things assuming causes:
- People not liking you before they even meet you
- False judgments
- Mistakes
- Loss of trust
- Ending friendships
We should not be assuming; we can try our hardest not to, but people like me have trust issues, so it’s almost a habit to assume. That’s why I’m declaring my independence to assuming
